During the pandemic, unable to travel to the places I would normally photograph, I took my camera on my regular walks around the farmland adjacent to my home. I had a need to be creative, to take photographs and to be outdoors. As the weeks went by I became more immersed in my local landscape and my appreciation for what I discovered on my doorstep deepened. This was especially true for the shy brown hares I encountered and the intimate landscape. These small scenes contain extracts from nature - the grasses, the wild plants, the butterflies - that are easily overlooked and are just waiting for us to slow down and take notice.

Edition of one.
